A Nurse-Led Specialized Apprenticeship Initiative supported by the Michigan Going PRO Talent Fund.

Program Overview

  • The Mission: Bridge the gap from the classroom to clinical excellence. Care Plan Inc. is launching a $224,000 workforce investment to train the next generation of healthcare professionals in partnership with the State of Michigan.

  • Who it’s for: CNA, Medical Assisting, and Nursing students ready to start in Spring 2026.

The “Earn While You Learn” Pathway

If you’re a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) who takes pride in your work, you’ll find more than a job here, you’ll find a professional home.

We’re always looking for passionate professionals to fill a variety of senior care positions, including:

Phase 1: Apprenticeship

  • Focus: Nurse-led clinical rotations and one-on-one mentorship with a Clinical Nurse Instructor.
  • Pay: $13.95/hour.

Phase 2: Certification

  • Focus: $0-cost state-funded specialized certifications in Trauma-Informed Care and VA Compliance.
  • Pay: Paid training time.

Phase 3: Career Launch

  • Focus: Guaranteed promotion to Senior Caregiver after graduation and passing state boards.
  • Pay: $19.00 – $22.00/hour.
